WORKS OF ART DIVISION

A work of art is an artistic creation. It is assembled by professionals of an art, or in any case involves a primarily aesthetic function. The work of art is therefore a form of artistic expression which has beauty as its end and technique as a means. It is closely related to the realization of an idea.

A work of art can be physical, in two or three dimensions, and this applies to artefacts belonging to the visual or figurative arts, painting, sculpture, architecture and photography. In forms of stage or theatrical art, in music, dance and cinema, the work of art is the complex production of a particular show, film, opera, ballet or concert.
